Every single race all your hear is whinning crying and complaining. 2 weeks ago Kyle Busch wins the race and then complains the about the new car of tomorrow. If I won that kind of money i'd be jumping for joy. They whine that they go to fast. I've gone to local tracks and seen the cars run faster than nascar on the same size track. There's alot of drivers that could do as good or better job driving. I think it's time the sponsers start looking for drivers that would appreciate having a job driving in nascar. It is my opinion from listening to the drivers that they are the biggest bunch of over paid cry babys in all of sports. I could write all days about how they complain but then i'd be just like them
Is it just me or are Nascar drivers the biggest bunch of over paid complaining cry babys in all of sports?
IT'S JUST YOU
Reply:No, it's not just you. But NASCAR is just pro wrestling on wheels, so what do you expect? The racing is certainly not interesting enough by itself, they have to throw in some drama queens to perk it up a bit.
Reply:RELAX,THEY'RE JUST TRYING TO GET KLEENEX OR HUGGIES TO BECOME SPONSORS!!!!!!OR IT IS PAMPRIN AND TAMPAX???
Reply:No way, basketball is way worse. THey make more and are always complaining and crying to the refs. Not to mention how shady a lot of them can be. How many NASCAR drivers you hear getting arrested or starting a fight at a night club. If they complain it's because any fault in their sport or equipment may cost them their life.
Reply:Okay. You need to find a new sport to enjoy. Obviously, you can't appreciate NASCAR because you think everybody is "whining." You may not understand the concept, but the drivers are human. The cars are machines. The drivers are prone to emotions (just like you or I), they are entitled to opinions, and they are equally entitled to express their opinions and the way they feel. If everybody thought the way you do, NASCAR would not be as popular as it is. And, there wouldn't be any reason for the reporters to do pre-race and post-race interviews.
Maybe you'd enjoy golf or women's basketball better.
Reply:no there not
Reply:It's just you.
Reply:Personally NASCAR is just driving around the world to the left for hours on end and a big snooze fest to me.
Try watching something else.....like football :D
Reply:Nascar may be fun, but its not a sport
Reply:To be honest with you it's the basketball players and football players tha t are the cry babys
Reply:Your quite right .
Except the part about it being a sport.
Turn left for a few hundred miles and crash into what ever you want and not get penalized,a spectacle maybe a sport no.
Reply:Only Tony Stewart and Robby Gorden.
Stick with a respectable man like Mark Martin
Reply:Nascab isn't a sport.
but yes they are crybabys that get overpaid for driving a taxi cab tin top in circle for for hours with constant wreck fest and the drama of WWE and the make up rules as you go that is Napcar.
yes they are cry babys.
Reply:No chump, you got this confused with Pro Basketball!!
This is real and then people are real!! Not posers.
Reply:I think you touch on what's wrong with all professional sports these days - top stars are paid a lot of money, and don't give us the impression that they appreciate how good they have it. Granted, in any sport there are some that make everybody look bad, but I feel no need to name names - you know who they are.
I would love to get paid to drive a car with the chance at winning a couple hundred thousand dollars, or play basketball for a living, keeping myself in better shape than I am now because I devote over 50 hours of my week to a desk job and driving back and forth to it. I'd gladly play professional baseball or golf for $100,000 a year (assuming my expenses are covered). That's a really nice living to be out having fun. But, I'm not physically gifted enough, or didn't get the right opportunity, or I took a different path or whatever - so I do what I do, and I'm not complaining.
Meanwhile, the sports stars demand more money, which probably is part of what drives up the costs to the point where us regular folks can't hardly afford to take our family to a race or other type of sporting event. It seems to be a dichotomy of sorts.
The most unfortunate aspect of this is when our kids look up to these people as heroes and see them act the way they do, they might assume it is acceptable to act that way when you are successful and talented. I'm not so sure that's a good thing for kids (or adults) to emulate. People need to show some more respect for themselves and those who helped them get where they are.
Reply:I don't think the drivers whine near as much as the nascar fans. It's really not about the racing to these dolts. This is more SOAP OPERA than racing,I mean look at what they talk about--J.G.is gay,K.K. is soooo cute,J.P.M.is a "FERNER" ,did so and so push so and so into the wall,do you like/hate the C.O.T/ gimme a forkin break!
Reply:And they are not very good drivers!
Reply:Read this and then complain about the whining
http://www.nascar.com/2007/news/opinion/...
Reply:its just you these guys were racing a new car and were complaing so they would get the cars fixed to prevent the drivers from being injured by problems with the new cars these guys generate big money and nascar makes big money off of them so they deserve the big paydays they get ,these guys by far are the greatest drivers in the world i know the F1 folks will cry after i say that but the nascar drivers always have a full field of drivers and race alot closer to one another than almost all forms of racing ,also you see alot of drivers fleeing the likes of F1 and the IRL for nascar because of the better racing and more competition and the huge fan following here in the united states not to mention the money.
Reply:boys in jumpsuits
Reply:Atleast there's no Nascar drivers being indicted on drug, rape and vehicular homicide with a DWI charge like all other sports.
Let's see, a baseball, football, basketball and hockey player signs a 40 million dollar contract then sits out 5 game's because he has a shin splint. Then they all go on strike ruining the whole season. YEA.
No wonder there's no whining in stick and one ball money sports. And to call Nascar drivers overpaid is completely untrue compared to other sports.
A Nascar driver has to race for his money. If he misses a race he loses money and championship points.
So if they ***** a little so what. Besides, it's only like the same 2 drivers every race.
Reply:well i think your partly right but partly wrong it is hard it is defanly a spart but they do wine alot like stewart he is the biggest baby of them all he will reck someone and it is fine but when somekone recks him it is wrong and nascar should do something about it but i think you should watch it a little more and i think that car of twomrow sucks but they will get better at it they have only racedin it a acopple times.
Reply:I agree, for sitting in a car for 2+ hours they sure do a ton of whining. Only pro-wrestling has more theatrics than NASCAR. That's why I watch other racing, and other sports (that actually have athleticism involved).
Reply:I am not a NASCAR fan per se but give these guys their due. You try riding around in the most uncomfortable of rides at temps that reach 125 for five hours.
Baseball players are more overpaid. I mean come on, drivers are putting their lives on the line. Do you really consider John Kruk or Curt Schilling athletes?
Reply:Maybe you dont understand NASCAR and you should take up watching golf or something.
