What is your opinion of fast foods? Yuck or Yum?

Do you like fast food?

How often do you eat it?

What is you favorite, if you do eat it?

I think fast food companies should hire less people, and pay them more money, do you agree or disagree with my opinion?

(Your last answer will not effect me picking you for best answer if you disagree with me, please answer like you normally would)

What is your opinion of fast foods? Yuck or Yum?
Yum - sometimes :-)

I like fast food. It's good when I'm in a hurry and don't have time to cook, or when I'm broke and it's 3 days until payday and I can't afford anything better. :-)

I actually like McDonald's new Snack Wrap, and Carl's Jr. Six Dollar Burgers.

I think they need to keep about the same number of people they have now, just pay them a little bit more so that they are more motivated to do a consistently good job at preparing the food. If they pay them too much though, then they'll raise the prices and I'll end up having to eat ramen noodles everyday. :-P
Reply:Yes. twice a week. i guess burgers. no because that takes away more jobs from needy individuals. they wouldn't be working there if they didn't have to.
Reply:i love fast foods, but am trying to cut down

last time i ate junk was a week ago

onion rings

yes
Reply:Do you like fast food? yes, i do. mcdonalds.

How often do you eat it? once every 2 weeks about.

What is you favorite, if you do eat it? mcdonalds

I think fast food companies should hire less people, and pay them more money, do you agree or disagree with my opinion?

i don't really think that would matter, actually. maybe they could use some food checkers to make sure the order is right, cuz mines wrong almost everytime!!! lol. i hate it. they should really make a policy on that. like, refund if your order is wrong, or something. its ridiculous how many times that happens.

4 yrs. ago: Yuck.

today: Eccccch.

Fast foods are nothing but calories, fat, and sodium. All dangerous ingredients. All I have to do it think about all the above, and I no longer crave it. A heart attack on a tray. From some of the fast-food employees I've seen in restrooms, they do not wash their hands at all after using the facilities. This totally grosses me out. Leave fast food alone. Just say no.
Reply:I like fast food, once or twice a month, Wendy's and Taco Bell... I think that they could hire more people and pay them the same increasing efficiency, which Burger King has really lacked recently
Reply:some are yuk and some are yum but in moderation nothing beats a home cooked meal
Reply:I like fast food, and try to eat it in moderation. No more than once a week. French fries is my major weakness.

no, fast food jobs are ment for teens to get their foot into the job market. They are paid fine.
Reply:I eat the fast food thats good not some crappy food that taste bad
Reply:I worked for Mcd's and Jack-in-the-box. Kids work ethics are not what they used to be. So it doesn't matter how much you pay. Plus dealing with the public isn't all it's cracked up to be sometimes either. But I do like fast food. Just don't anger drive-thru people when inside is closed. You wouldn't believe some of the stuff I've seen.

Reply:Yuck
Reply:no i dont like fast food

i haven't eat it in 2 years

i dont eat it and my favorite used to be 2 number 1 at burger king and 2 large french fries with a large drink

i do agree with u on that all fast food companies now use hi-tech to help make faster products to improve their number of sells and most employees all they is maybe put the french fries in the case thing of theirs or give the customer back their change by using a built in calculator
Reply:Mostly Yuk. The BREAKFASTS and the large SALADS at McDonalds are ok (and the coffee is good). The burgers and fried McNuggets and quickie snack foods are terrible at McDonalds, Burger King, Hardees and most other fast foods.

Subway sandwiches are OK.
Reply:it is definately something that I'm guilty for eating at... like i think a lot of people who have limited time to cook and yes money. I do try to limit my fast food intake and when i do eat at them to not eat the fries or pop. i try to go to delis or locally run diners. I like your idea to increase the wages.
Reply:Yuck and Yum.
Reply:They should hire more people for more money (Their employees are poor and stressed), the food tastes yummy but is very unhealthy.
Reply:yum
Reply:I hate fast food. It all tastes the same. IF I had to eat fast food, I would pick Arby's. I'll go along with your opinion of hiring less people and let the others have a bit more money.
Reply:It's one of the yuckiest things in the world!! (Okay I'm exagerating, it depends on the restaurant.) Watch the movie SUPER SIZE ME and you'll agree!

No, it's so unhealthy but some tastes good

Only when I have to like if there's no food at home

Subway sometimes Burger King, they taste the freshest

No, I don't agree b/c the employees are already working very hard as is since so many people eat at fast food restaurants and they need all the help they can get. (I have a cousin who works at Mickey D's).
Reply:Yes I Like Fast Food, It's delicious.

Maybe 3 or 4 Times A Month

I like French Fries The Best

I disagree because then what would happen to the people who used to have jobs but got fired so the others could make more money?
Reply:I do somewhat like fast food ONLY if i am in a hurry.

I eat fast food once a week

I like Taco Bell, Mc Donalds and Arby's

I agree with you if we paid fast food workers more money maybe our food would be a lot better.
Reply:i like that they're at least trying to make it healthier, plus its the best drunk/ hangover food, i try to stay away and eat it every couple of weeks, and even then i stick to subway, but i have a weakness for wendys and taco bell, i thnk they should still have the number of emplyoees they have, but just pay more, they can afford it!
Reply:Gross, 1x/week, If I had a favorite I guess it would be Wendy's. As for hiring less people and more pay- it wouldn't work. Food quality would go down, service would be slower. I think they should get paid more no matter what because a lot of them are unskilled or laid off workers with families to support and they work very hard. More importantly I would give them affordable benefits.

Can you really get paid to play golf?

Have any of you ever tried programs which allow you to get paid to play golf courses and give them your opinion such as the ones from www.golfmoney.com or www.paidtogolf.com ? If you have was it a scam or did it really work?

Can you really get paid to play golf?
no
Reply:Have you ever heard of PGA and LPGA? Come on now.
Reply:its a scam don't believe

but pros get paid on tour
Reply:Here is a golf school that has lots of great info about the golf industry. The site has many good articles listed on different golf careers. It also lists tips on how to improve your game.

Reply:yes pros do it
Reply:Well the PGA and LPGA pay professionals kinda like NFL, NBA, or MLB.

But... i personally haven't tried it. I would suggest that before you do try it... the golf courses that it lists.. go to the course and talk to the pro. Or call, they will tell you if its true or if its a scam. I know golf courses do pay people to play and get their opinion but you have to be a good golfer... they will ask your handicap. I have played before and been paid b/c they wanted an opinion of a teenager but you have to have a certain handicap to be able to apply for it. So, don't sign up on-line. Look at the golf course thats listed... get the phone number and call or go up there and ask if its a real deal.

Good Luck!!

Why do the members of congress ignore public opinion?

What factors allow congress to ignore what their constituents want? Why aren't they paying attention to the people who vote for them? It seems to me like they have their own hidden agendas.

Why do the members of congress ignore public opinion?
Because the special interests can afford lobbyists, who see to it their clients get what they want, and the people get to pay for it.
Reply:I second patriot's answer.....in reality they don't work for the people....they work for their and your party and the corporations are YOUR...parent company
Reply:Because they can get away with it as we the people do nothing about it.
Reply:Hmm, maybe because they understand that they:

1) cannot give everyone what they want

2) that many citizens do not understand how their own government works

3) that many citizens are to shortsighted to understand the lang term effects of their desires

Do you think global warming is a concern of yours and what in your opinion causes it?

Oil consumption is one: outdated diesel trains, high octane burning jetliners, large personal vehicles, heavy land development equipment, energy plants, refineries, and cargo transportation.

Others are: large methane producing beef farms/dairies that do not harvest and prevent enough of the gasses from leaving the farm. Only a few farms deploy this type of containment, are we willing to pay more for dairy and beef to protect our environment so they can invest in such containment systems? I think so.

Did you know the populations of bark beetles have increased from 1.1 million in 2005 to almost 5 million in 2006 in Colorado!? (http://news.yahoo.com/s/afp/20061208/sc_... ) I hate seeing Big Bear, in my area, suffer because it is not getting cold enough to kill them. Trees are dying; oxygen producing forests are becoming extinct, why? In my opinion it's Global Warming. It's affecting everything and I believe it is all of our concern.

What’s your opinion?

Do you think global warming is a concern of yours and what in your opinion causes it?
Global warming caused solely by man is a myth.

What is happening is a constant shifting of climate and weather around the world.

Greenland once supported crops 1000 years ago, but now even grass can't grow there. That's global cooling.

Even barely perceivable changes in the Sun's energy output will have far more impact than all of mankind.

So we will see warmer periods and cooler periods regardless of what we do "to save the planet".

What we need to do is stop worrying about how to "stop global warming", and concentrate on predicting how the continued climate change will affect various regions - both areas that warm up and cool down.

I believe that the main cause of the Accelerated Global Heating is in the great and increasing forest fires that are whipping to the planet in the last years.

My complete report is in: http://inicia.es/de/rlv/clim.htm

Reply:I think people should first plan to have a small family. Because population growth is responsible for the destruction of forests that is one of the reason for global warming. Improving medical research for elders should not be encouraged. Because it is increasing man's life span from 70-90years and it is one of the reason for the global warming. People may not be productive after their 70s and when we are disposing and dumping all the useless stuff why should we try to live for so long when we grew old and sick and consume and waste so much of resources on this valuable earth.. These facts may sound hard and bitter to digest. But, realities in fact are like that.
Reply:It's 77 degrees in the middle of December.

Rock on. I hate cold weather.
Reply:You mentioned many things, but all that was not enough to bring us out of the ice age. We are just in an evolutionary developement. I lived in Northern Minnesota, it stayed at 30 below zero for a month at a time. Anymore it is just a day or so when weather conditions are right that we have that cold of temperature. What is happening is just another step in the evolution of the earth.
Reply:U sound like u know what u are talking about . All that huge amount of fuel has increased the CO2 how much. None when they tied global warming to CO2 I knew they were stupid. Mother nature has recycled our air for millions of years with plants which take in CO2 and give us back oxygen . The plants need the CO2 just as much as we need oxygen ,what u think u are doing. Your methane is just as stupid and all I will say is go measure it.
Reply:What is the greatest contributor to global warming?

something most Americans do on a daily basis: solo driving.

Please give your opinion on the best digital camera?

I really am technically challenged. My camera is a Kodak easyshare that does not work for close-ups. I need a camera that will take sharp close-ups of jewelry.

What is a good # of mega pixels?

Zoom?

Brand?

Reasonable price to pay?

Fairly easy to use?

Thanks for suggestions!

Please give your opinion on the best digital camera?
GE has just come out with an awesome camera. 8 megapixels 5 time optical zoom and many other interesting features. What i would suggest trying first though, is stand further away from the jewelry and zoom in, it might not be able to focus if you are getting to close to it. But if that doesn't work i would definately suggest this GE. Radio shack Carries it. If you have a hard time finding it just go to radio shack and give them this SKU: 16-560.

good luck!

What, in your opinion, is a valid reason for reporting an illegal alien?

Aside from their broader impact on society as a whole, i.e. taking potential jobs away from legal citizens, not having to pay taxes, etc.

What, in your opinion, is a valid reason for reporting an illegal alien?
I do not think there is any reason only that you want to.

They take away no ones job, I heard on this forum that employers were telling their employees that they were going to fire them and replace them with Undocumented, That is an illegal violation of the EEOC, American labor law. An employer needs a documented reason for the discharge of an employee. If anyone lost a job and use that excuse, was he was fired for not doing his job.
Reply:There are no valid reasons since the laws of the nation aren't being enforced. Do you think they don't know there are illegal aliens and where most of them are. It is not really necessary for you to snitch. They could find millions of them if they had the slightest motivation.
Reply:Being here.

Thus the term "illegal"
Reply:When he takes away an U. S. citizen's job.
Reply:if they are a criminal but i would feel bad if it was just a hardworking family.. but then again.. i dont know any ppl in this situation
Reply:simple math if the 1986 amnesty of about 2 million illegals encouraged 12 to 21 million more illegals to come looking for the same. what would a 3rd wave look like 24 million to 42 million? you cannot give something away and not expect word to spread. they have to leave it can't happen if we ever hope to have a controlled immigration. you cannot have people just show up and figure out later how you will shelter, educate, transport, feed, employ, and clothe them. infrastructure does not support unchecked growth. so i say just that they crossed the border illegally is reason to report someone. honestly people need to think in broader terms it's all warm and fuzzy to think we can take care of the world. the reality is if you have a wedding with 500 guests and 3000 show up some body's going without. nothing is infinite all things run out.
Reply:You can report people all you want. The government doesn't care. They are busy with the smugglers, not the individuals.
Reply:The fact that they're here illegally, which in itself constitutes a violation of the law.
Reply:Go ahead and try.You can't get threw on the phone and you can't get an appt.If you go to the FBI they are to stoned to help you.Go and try.
Reply:Being illegally here?

( I agree with a post below that you should be certain they are illegal. Your question assumed they were, though.)
Reply:In the short term illegal immigrants pay into the Social Security system which is almost bankrupt.

They also provide recruits for the military.

The Development, Relief, and Education for Alien Minors Act, or DREAM Act, is part of the stalled package of proposals that many in Congress are seeking to resurrect. The proposal, applicable to an estimated 750,000 undocumented residents of military age, stipulates that those who arrived in the United States before age 16, graduated from high school, and meet other qualifications could immediately enter the path to citizenship in exchange for at least two years' service in the armed forces.

Ron Paul has stated that he wants very strong borders and he was appalled that our government had taken border guards off of our borders to send them to Iraq.

http://www.lewrockwell.com/orig8/haman3....

This is his six point plan:

Physically secure our borders and coastlines. We must do whatever it takes to control entry into our country before we undertake complicated immigration reform proposals.

Enforce visa rules. Immigration officials must track visa holders and deport anyone who overstays their visa or otherwise violates U.S. law. This is especially important when we recall that a number of 9/11 terrorists had expired visas.

No amnesty. Estimates suggest that 10 to 20 million people are in our country illegally. That’s a lot of people to reward for breaking our laws.

No welfare for illegal aliens. Americans have welcomed immigrants who seek opportunity, work hard, and play by the rules. But taxpayers should not pay for illegal immigrants who use hospitals, clinics, schools, roads, and social services.

End birthright citizenship. As long as illegal immigrants know their children born here will be citizens, the incentive to enter the U.S. illegally will remain strong.

Pass true immigration reform. The current system is incoherent and unfair. But current reform proposals would allow up to 60 million more immigrants into our country, according to the Heritage Foundation. This is insanity. Legal immigrants from all countries should face the same rules and waiting periods.

Reply:Because they are illegal.

...

And should not be here within our Nation's borders.

...

For example: I'm not planning on 'crashing the border' of Austria, and doing whatever I want there. Claiming a job there; or driving around in a car there; or committing robberies there or being on Austrian welfare or demanding rights even though all I did was wander across their border. Why would anyone allow me to do that? And why would US citizens stand for anything less?

It is our civic duty to report illegal activity as caring, participatory citizens of our Nation.
Reply:Basically the fact that they're there. You would report someone for breaking the law, wouldn't you?
Reply:you dont need a valid reason to report an illegal alien

them being illegal is a valid reason
Reply:Illegal alien!!!!!!!!!!!!! Like it was said below, Hello!

I cross the Canadian border at least 2 times a week, sometimes more. I deliver furniture up there and I am very much aware of illegal aliens. We usually have reports of attempts to cross the border almost every day.

My feelings are that if they want to live in the country they are crossing into illegally, they should work on getting in legally. If they do cross over illegally, then they should be 'DEPORTED'. Then they should be given a chance to take proper steps to get a passport and be legal. Otherwise, they should stay out of the country they were in 'Illegally'

I know this is long, but it is something I thing many people will agree with. It is something that Robin Williams came up with. I have something added at the end of his words.

Robin Williams On Illegal Aliens

I like things like this because a lot of times I feel the same way, but I'm not famous, so my opinions don’t get heard very much. I hope you like this too.

Leave it to Robin Williams to come up with the perfect plan... what we need now is for our UN Ambassador to stand up and repeat this message.

Robin Williams' plan...(It's hard to argue with this logic!)

I see a lot of people yelling for peace but I have not heard of a plan for peace. So, here's one:

1) The US will apologize to the world for our "interference" in their affairs, past %26amp; present. We will promise never to "interfere" again.

2) We will withdraw our troops from all over the world, starting with Germany, South Korea and the Philippines. They don't want us there anyway. We would station troops at our borders. No more sneaking through holes in the fence.

3) All illegal aliens have 90 days to get their affairs together and leave. We'll give them a free trip home. After 90 days the remainder will be gathered up and deported immediately, regardless of who they are or where they are from. France would welcome them.

4) All future visitors will be thoroughly checked and limited to 90-day visits unless given a special permit. No one from a terrorist nation would be allowed in. If you don't like it there, change it yourself don't hide here. Asylum would not ever be available to anyone. We don't need any more cab drivers.

5) No "students" over the age of 21. The older ones are the bombers. If they don't attend classes, they get a "D" and it's back home, baby.

6) The US will make a strong effort to become self-sufficient energy wise. This will include developing non-polluting sources of energy but will require a temporary drilling of oil in the Alaskan wilderness. The caribou will have to cope for a while.

7) Offer Saudi Arabia and other oil producing countries $10 a barrel for their oil. If they don't like it, we go someplace else.

8) If there is a famine or other natural catastrophe in the world, we will not "interfere". They can pray to Allah or whomever, for seeds, rain, cement or whatever they need. Besides, most of what we give them gets "lost" or is taken by their army. The people who need it most get very little, anyway.

9) Ship the UN Headquarters to an island some place. We don't need the spies and fair weather friends here. Besides, it would make a good homeless shelter or lockup for illegal aliens.

9b) Use the buildings as replacements for the twin towers.

10) All Americans must go to charm and beauty school. That way, no one can call us "Ugly Americans" any longer.

Now, ain't that a winner of a plan.

"The Statue of Liberty is no longer saying 'Give me your poor, your tired, your huddled masses.' She's got a baseball bat and she's yelling, 'You want a piece of me?'" - Robin Williams

I can't say that I totally agree with his last statement about the baseball bat, but the rest is great. I've never really understood why the US let the foreigners move in and then give them social security and businesses and all the trimmings to boot. Let an American that really needs help, try to get it and they basically laugh at us.

The US government is no longer for the American people; it’s all about the US government and their deep pockets. All of the taxpayers that are trying to do everything legally are the ones that the government wants to screw the most, and they do a pretty darn good job of it, don't you think?

But I do have a surprise for you. Here is a link http://www.pacinst.com/nslaw/preamble.ht... that you can go to, to learn about why the US is in such a mess and where it’s heading. And it’s not going to get any better.

I hope you like this.

Reply:Most people come here illigaly to work hard and support their family back home. You guys will never understand, unless you go to one of those countries and the poverty, and misery these people are living with everyday. Personally, i will never report a hard working and honest person who come here to support his/her family. Illegals aliens don't take any jobs from anybody. They do construction work in the sun all day, they do other nasty jobs that U.S. citizens wouldn't do. Let's face, what U.S. citizen would stay in the sun for 14-15 hours a day working in a orange field in the hot sun, in the middle of nowhere in Florida? Do you realize that thanks to these people that we are treating like crap we are having our Florida orange juice for breakfast every morning, or when you need you vitamin C against the flu. They need some respect. Personally, unless an illegal is on the Most Wanted list in America for murder, or some hard crime, I would never report him/her.
Reply:For the same reason I'd report any other law-breaker, civic duty and an abiding belief that when law is flagrantly disdained by millions anarchy will follow.
Reply:They broke the law.

I was going to end it at that, but for those who forget this nation was founded upon a set of principles. One of the strongest being that we were a nation of LAWS.

When you start ignoring that principle (as these illegals do every time they cross the border) then you are saying the underlying principals are wrong.
Reply:It's illegal..........HELLO!!
Reply:Who needs a reason? If they are illegal then they should be turned in.

And we DON'T need to see any paperwork, all we need is a valid concern, the police are the ones responsible for checking paperwork. If you happen to be wrong, nothing happens, unless you make a habit of false reports.

You can't sue someone for reporting you to the police, for that matter you aren't even allowed to know who reported you, so how can you sue them?
Reply:When I go to wal-mart and I feel like I'm in a foreign land does that count?
Reply:simply put - they started off joining our society by fraud - do you really think your first act as a citizen should be theft of service.
Reply:I am against amnesty, but unless an illegal is going great physical harm I say leave well enough alone but if our government was doing their job we would not have to be in the position of have to police others that are illegal. Having said that I am furious with our government that is not doing their job in funding and enforcing our immigration laws, that puts the average citizen in the position of having to vigilante justice. I do believe that workplace enforcement should be front and center, and those illegals that have no right to be here should be arrested and deported, and the employers should be fined and jailed as well.
Reply:none if they are actually commiting a crime like stealing or any kind of violence ok but otherwise let them be. Its the corporate fat cats like Cheney and co that make life hard not some dude from mexico works 14hrs a day in a field or slaughterhouse
Reply:A valid reason to report an ILLEGAL...the illegal part is all the validity I need.
Reply:I think you already have the right idea.
Reply:if you know of one you report it because it is here illegally...'nuf said
Reply:Simply the fact that they ARE illegal is enough for me. I believe in laws. I believe in enforcing laws. That is enough.
Reply:If you want to get your hands dirty and be called a snitch. I think the proper authorities should do their job. but whatever compels you and floats your boat I guess.

My valid reason would be because I owe them money lol jking..

Need your feedback on an idea for a Paid Answer Site?

I have this idea for a paid answer site and would like your opinion since all of you use this site everyday.

I am thinking of a site where anyone can join and answer questions within categories for free until they get a certain number of points. The points is based on what users (who ask questions) rate the experts. Points are assigned within categories. So once an expert attains a certain number of points, their answers will have to be paid for.

This way the people asking the question know that they are paying someone who others found useful within a category.

What do you think? Do you think you would pay someone even if it is a very small amount?

Thanks in advance.

Augustus

Need your feedback on an idea for a Paid Answer Site?
No, I can't imagine that would be too successful. If I'm gonna pay someone for something I can look up myself, I'm going to want them to be an expert in that particular subject. It's doubtful that some random person who racked up points because they answered a lot of random questions is going to be an expert in any particular subject.
