Should all employees be paid by profits percentage rate instead of hourly rate?

Please give me your opinion on this subject. What if everybody will be paid based on a percentage rate instead of hourly rate. Base on each person skills, the company will pay them by percentage of the company profits. The more skills they have the higher percentage. So if they perform well and help the company grow, their payrate will also increase. This way, the employees will always be motivated to work, and it's also give everyone an opportunity to be rich. With hourly payrate, there's only so much time in a day, therefore, anyone who trades time for money will never have a chance to improve their life no matter how hard they work. Please only post reasonable answers.

Should all employees be paid by profits percentage rate instead of hourly rate?
I would not agree with that kind of system. Not all companys turn profits on a daily basis, and sometimes they dont make a profit for a year. So in that instance the employees wouldnt be paid? I dont see how that would work.
Reply:That would be really scary. You wouldn't be able to budget with a fluctuating salary. What about some of these high-flying dot coms that bit the dust. If your salary had been tied to their performance you would be in the poor house. Some companies have a profit sharing plan which is an extra benefit, not a salary.
Reply:Dumb idea. I dont know how many murders would be commited from this. Imagine you bust your "butt" for this company and the profits skyrocket while lazy joe picks his belly button lint all day. You would both be paid equally? Also, who would want to work for a business that just started up? No businesses start out making tons of profits so they wouldnt get paid anything really. The only way this would work is commision, which basically is what you are talking about only more personal. My take on the issue...

Just an opinion. do you think that native americans should have to pay taxes?

i mean they were here before the u.s. and were basically slaughtered and whatnot. lucky to still be alive for sure. we live on land that was stolen from them and although they have casinos now that is strictly controlled and only larger more political tribes are able to benefit from them. so just a question, i don't mean to offend anybody...

Just an opinion. do you think that native americans should have to pay taxes?
The truth is they don't pay taxes, After all the abusive treatment they have received and after the government made them live in far communities, do you think they need to pay taxes???? You said it better than me... We are living in the territories this government stole from them, they have being treated really bad, they have being humiliated, many have being killed.

This government will never heal all the injuries, whites american caused to them. so, I think is Ok to them to not pay taxes.

And... How many whites, blacks and immigrants live here from the welfare: they don't pay taxes either. They live from the money you and me work so hard to make.

This is a really complicated issue.
Reply:Taxes' fundamental purposes is to provide public goods/services like medicare and social security. It's a mean to give back what you have taken from the society, and for the government to take care of its people. Thus if the native americans are part of this society and benefitting from the government as everybody else is, I don't see why they should be exempted from paying taxes.
Reply:I do not think that the native Americans should pay taxes. We need to be generous, and perhaps a lot more so, than we are to these poor people who have had their lands taken from them.
Reply:DUH YOU SHOULD HAVE TO PAY TAXES. You live here, so u pay the tax.
Reply:They pay taxes like everyone else. While it is true that they have been marginalized and herded onto reservations, it is also true that many work for a living just like everyone else and like everyone else they pay income taxes on that money. There are some tax free benefits but not enough to make up for the history.
Reply:Yes.
Reply:Many tax funds go towards public services, so anyone who utilizes these services should have to pay tax. I know there are plenty of Indians on college scholarships, or on welfare, or using the public transit system, or driving down paved roads, or want help from FEMA during a disaster, etc.... that's why we should all have to pay taxes.
Reply:Yes, if they wish to be treated as citizens of the United States.

No, if they wish to be treated as autonomous tribe members.
Reply:No, they shouldn't.
Reply:let's keep it easy - i think everyone should. it's the american way!

Do you ever get tired of people answering questions here as if their opinion is fact?

I see so many people answer questions as if their opinion is fact. Words like "always, every, never, and none," are typically part of the answer. Often they don't even answer the question you ask and then someone else answers in a completely different way.

I know advice is worth what you pay for but what is it with people answering questions that they don't know the answer to and acting like they do while they're at it?

Do the believe themselves, are they just trying to make life difficult for other people, or is there something else going on?

Do you ever get tired of people answering questions here as if their opinion is fact?
i'm not the smartest cookie in the box..but i have enough education to figure out who is guessing they are correct and the ones who are correct...if i am not sure i will not answer for the reason i could really screw up somebody's life those words...never, always, etc...are common words people use to just state a point...i always use them...but i never mean it...hahaha
Reply:Yes some people just don't care how they answer the questions. Some of the advise on here you take it or leave it. When it is my opinion I state in source my opinion. I do not want people think it is fact when it is not.
Reply:Well, I always try to answer every question. Never have I given my opinion. None of the other folks will try to BS their way thru life as I just did.
Reply:Yes, I too wish people would speak up and be heard on things they know something about, but politely stand in the background and let others speak up on things when they don't. Everyone seems to want to throw their two cents in whether they know diddly about it or not, all under the umbrella "All opinions are equal." -- Which has never been true.
Reply:I do get tired of it sometimes that's why i just say i think or just don't answer it at all.

What is your opinion of child pertective services?

In order for cps to stand they have to have kids in the system so the state can pay there jobs. The stategives up to 4000 dollars per normal children adopted and 2000 dollars more for a mentally challenged adopted child. If the child goes in to a mental instiution and is on more that 16 drugs a day they get more money.

What is your opinion of child pertective services?
It, like any business or govenment agency has flaws, and serious one's at that. It would however be a very bad thing for so many children if it ceased to exist because the fact is there are so many abused children who were saved by the system.
Reply:I agree, a necessary evil. They aren't the best people to have to deal with.
Reply:wow if people really understood that CPS doesn't want to take a kids. That CPS would rather the parents be sober, not severely mentally ill and not severely abusing their child. The cps worker would love not working until 1 am because even if the call came in earlier, by the time the cps investigator, investigated, tried everything under the sun to keep the family together, removed the child, waited in the hospital to get a physical that wait for a foster home for several hours AND NOT be home wiht thier two small children.

If people only understood that CPS wants to return children home as long as the parents are doing what the are COURT ordered to do. If people only understood the reason they canot have thier kids back becuase there is something wrong with them.

If people only understood how OVERWORKED caseworker really are. WHen people make false allegations against other families, investigators have to investigate every call that come in and complete a FULL investigaiton even though the know its not true (required by law) instead of working on real cases.

CPS workers are so overworked. They are not paid to remove children. When a CPS wkr thinks they have to remove a child they will get on the phone with their supervisors, staff supervisor and district attorney to see if a removal is warrented.
Reply:CPS here only remove chidren if there is enough evidence to do so and most children are returned home after family has councling and such and meets the courts requirments. It isn't true about the county getting more for getting more children. They have a set amount each year to spend which is why sometimes they can't even respond fast enough to a call because they don't have the money available to pay the staff they need. I think CPS is a needed service for protection of children. They do give money to foster homes because they want the children taken care of but they give more for special needs because they will require more medical care. As for mental institutions that works completely different. Another note though for you is that parents of children taken by CPS are required to pay childsupport as well and that childsupport goes to the foster parents for the childs care.
Reply:i know people at CPS and they try not to take kids and if they do they try to place with family first. They are not encouraged to have kids adopted. It is sad that it is needed but it really is. Kids are horibbly and wrongfully hurt daily. Raped by a parent beaten half to death and left with no food so that the parent can get high. The people i know see these cases every day all day long. They are needed to protect these poor children
Reply:I deeply regret that there was no CPS to help us when my siblings and I were little!
Reply:Trust me, these workers don't need to go out and look for abuse cases just to meet a quota and get a pay check. There is more than enough bad stuff going on every day. I'm sure the case workers, who are overworked and underpaid would be thrilled if people stopped abusing their kids.
Reply:Trust me they will never have a shortage of kids in the system so I don't see an issue here. It's not like they are kidnapping kids just to put them into the system they are there already and there will always be more to come.
Reply:Wow
Reply:a necessary evil -too bad that it exists.
Reply:I'm sorry you have obviously had a bad experience. Just like every other profession, sometimes you will run into a bad apple - a weird case worker on a power trip or one who has seen so much crap already that they've become too jaded to be effective. On the whole, however, people do not become CPS caseworkers because it's a "fun" job. In fact, there is an insanely high turn over rate because it is such a depressing, stressfull, and painful job.

CPS is so underfunded, understaffed, undertrained, and misunderstood that every year children who already HAVE CPS case files open (or previously open) still die of terrible abuse. Just in the San Antonio area I can think of several high media examples. There was little Giovani who was starved to death and died on Christmas Day. There were the two children whose mother killed them and hid them under her house. Ever month we hear stories of children burned, beaten, shaken, starved and neglected. It seems like half the time the news says "CPS was previously called in" or "CPS was working with the family". Obviously, CPS isn't taking ENOUGH kids - partially because the funding isn't there but also because taking a child from a family is a serious thing to do. It's very hard to analyse the danger a child is in, and even harder to go through the legal proceedings of removing a child.

Is Clarence McMitchell worth the money he is paid?

As far as I can see he has no credibility at all and since he has been working for the McCanns public opinion of them has plummeted. What do you all think.

Is Clarence McMitchell worth the money he is paid?
Politics and Truth don't match...
Reply:What do you mean "since he has been working for the McCanns public opinion of them has plummeted." he was working for them from the very beggining. If it wasn't for him no one would have heard about the McCanns with a positive spin.
Reply:LOL youve answered your own question! i cant believe how badly things have gone down hill for the mccanns since he took over as team leader, and they are actually paying him for this privilege? more money than sense!
Reply:Why do they even have a PR when they do all the interviews themselves and just repeat what each other is saying.Clarence Mitchell came out last week and said the Mc canns are "clinging to the hope that Madeleines still alive" then a few hours later that they believe "Madeleines probably dead" .So what are you meant to believe some PR he is lol
Reply:He certainly didn't do them any favours advising them to do the Spanish interview. They really shot themselves in the foot with that ..It was a complete waste of time and the Spaniards(70%) thought they were lying. (I love the Spaniards !! )

Innocent people do NOT need PR people to fight their cause and spin their lies. If Maddy is destined to be found then she will be found irrespective of what the McCanns do.
Reply:who is clarence mcmithchell
Reply:i think it is better to have him than the roll call of relatives and friends who were official and official spokesmen before him

i don't think he is the fault with their credibility - i think they are - he is trying to tidy deck chairs on the titanic...........good luck Clarence with the 30% who still believe the mccanns version of events - i think the 70% are long gone................
Reply:He has made things worse for them. Him and Gerry give conflicting stories. He should not be paid out of the Madeleine fund. I can't see the need for a P.R. myself. Who do they think they are?
Reply:Depends whose side you are on, i read today his previous job with the government has not been advertised yet, food for thought?
Reply:Really cant understand when a personal family tragedy turned into better job prospects, 20 days paid leave, a pension plan and a company car. What did they do advertise in the local rag! How did finding Madeline become a career for someone!
Reply:He's made it a whole lot worse, mind you who could make it any better?
Reply:Was Justine?

Is he?

No neither. Wonder why? Impossible job springs to mind.

You can't make a silk purse out of a sows ear!

Reply:How can you get the smell of a rose from the dead leads. The audience is being led by the nose to a trap maybe?. To be set up for an abduction their self. To distract attention or maybe just to attract another mystery killer.
Reply:He has definately made things worse.

What is your opinion as to why health insurance costs so much?

We recently got a quote for health insurance for $614! That is with employer paying half of employee's portion. Am I crazy or is this a bloated amount?

What is your opinion as to why health insurance costs so much?
There is no single answer, but one of the reasons is in the complexity of health services delivery. You can protect yourself from high costs by buying smart. Combine a HIGH DEDUCTIBLE individual insurance with MySimpleCard and get the max benefit for the minimum monthly premium. Or get MySimpleCard by itself.
Reply:Stay the hell away from "Discount Cards" in lieu of health insurance. Read their fine print - those benefit plans take your money, pretending to be real insurance companies, until you have an injury or illness. Then you find out you only get a "discount" at the doctor and hospital.

The reason your group plan costs more is because they have to insure every possibility in the group. It's best to get medically underwritten (if you're healthy) and get an individual plan. You can compare them all here:

Reply:I hope my suggestion could be helpful. And here is resource that I am used to use.Check it out.http://health-insurance.expert-tip.info/...
Reply:In most states individual or family health insurance is usually far less expensive than group health insurance. This is contrary to what most people believe. The reason is that group plans must accept everyone in the group, regardless of their health. If you have health conditions, you may not be able to buy an individual or family health insurance plan - at any price!

Reply:Of course health insurance is very costly today even in a group plan. You may be better off looking into health insurance for "yourself" only and not subjected to the groups loss ratios. It's worth checking into if your health is good and then at least you'll know if you can do better elsewhere. The other advantage is if your company chooses to drop their group plan or you leave this job you will not be affected. Know your options!
Reply:Because illegal immigrants are sucking our health system dry and we get to pay for it.

What does a Paid Law Guardian Ad Litem do in a Custody Battle?

Custody Battle ..... in a Temp Order both parties agreed to the appointing of a Guardian Ad Litem for our infant son.

What is the role of a Private Party hired Guardian Ad Litem in the State of Georgia?

Will said Guardian Ad Litem be giving an opinion as to who they believe would be best suited for Full Custody or if one party is not suited for Joint Custody, etc?

What does a Paid Law Guardian Ad Litem do in a Custody Battle?
They observe the parents behavior and attitudes toward their child. They usually try to get the child to open up to them and tell them of past experiences or about their parents whether the comments be good or bad. This usually is used in medical emancipation and custody rights. They are more or less there, to make the child aware of their rights and choices.
Reply:A "Guardian ad litem' is a lawyer who represents the child. This person is concerned with the legal rights of the child, not with who gets custody. In a custpdy battle, each side has a lawyer representing them. Children need someone tpo guarantee their rights as well.
Reply:They work for the child, they will talk to both mother and father ( or whoever the 2 parties are) and the child, look at the situation and decides what is best for the child. The judge usually takes this attorney's recomendation over anyone elses
Reply:They Ad Litem attorney looks out for the interests of the child.

Both adults have an attorney. Now the child has one too. This attorney does not help to decide who wins the custody battle. Just makes sure that the child's rights are being represented.
Reply:They advocate strictly for the rights and benefit of the child. They act as the child's representative and will make a recommendation to the court as to custody arrangements.
Reply:The job of a GAL is always for the Best Interests Of The Child.
