I understand Google hires people to click on their pay per click ads and report their experience and opinions... a factor that contributes to the Adwords' advertiser's bid price and position.
Do you know what Google looks for when analyzing webpages? Do they give you a checklist?
Google paying for your opinion on webpages?
Not like that.
You are monitored by Google, Yahoo and whatchamacallit by the way you click anyway. The advertiser pays for every click on their advertisement.
Based on what you write in your E-mail and where you click to they place advertisements in your screen.
They will never pay for your services, THEY are payed for them.
Reply:interested to hear about this myself
Reply:Google collects information about Quality Score primarily through the Google Toolbar and through their internal analytics. When you download the Google Toolbar, Google collects information about the sites you visit: how long you spend on them, whether you immediately click the back button, etc. They aggregate millions of users' information to determine whether sites in their index are "quality."
I have never heard of a program that pays users to give their opinions about Google ads. I have heard of companies that pay people to click on Google ads. This is a scam and I would be careful about participating in it. The point of the clicking is not to evaluate ads, but rather to get you to click on an ad on their site, which they get a portion of the ad revenue from. This is not allowed by Google - it is known as click fraud - and any company engaging in this practice is going to be very shady. So even if they promise you money, I am pretty confident you will never get a dime from one of these programs!
Reply:Don't know...
But I confer that Google will shut you down if you or anyone for that matter performs excessive clicks from one ip address... which leads to economic sabotage by competitors. Also, If you click on you own Adsense ad just to see how it looks they will shut you down too. Adsense is Horse****
Reply:i dunno!
Reply:No. They do not do that. It would artificially inflate advertising costs. They say in their adsense agreement that if they see that you are artificially inflating clicks they will ban you from being a publisher.

I'd like someones opinion about getting paid for online surveys.?

I'd like someones opinion about getting paid for online surveys.?
All paid surveys are most certainly NOT a scam.

This must be another of those fraud "Work from Home and make Millions of dollars" schemes.
Reply:You are better off looking for another job or starting your own business -- than online surveys.
Legitimate market survey companies such as Pinecone Research recruit members based on demographic characteristics -- e.g. mothers of babies 0-12 years old -- and will send surveys of products and services targeting this demographic group. Pinecone Research, however, pays only $5 per survey -- you're definitely not going to be rich with that. They can give you anywhere from 1-5 at most surveys in a month.
Other companies simply ask you to answer as many research as possible, and you don't earn anything just the chance to win at a raffle (which I find lame).

What is your opinion on Consumer Reports Online Service. Do you really get paid, or is this a scam.?
"Consumer Reports" is a testing service. Their online site is to allow their members (who pay to use the site) to access information. The company and the site is not a scam.
If someone else is claiming that you can join their site, do surveys and get paid, then they are fraudulently claiming to be CR and should be avoided at all costs.

In your opinion what pays more a full time receptionist or part-time waiter?
I am a stay at home mom trying to make some extra cash. How about a full time waiter do they make a lot more than a full time receptionist? The cost of childcare is 1000 a month I am hoping I get some money left over after childcare expenses, which job pays more?
In your opinion what pays more a full time receptionist or part-time waiter?
Probably the part time waiter at a good restaurant on a good shift. But, the downfalls are you can't bank on tips or even assume business will be good any day of the week. The receptionist is steady money with the perks of health care and possibly other benefits. Waiters don't always get health care (never for part time) Your answer to your making more money is in your question--why don't you baby sit???
Reply:Take the waitressing job and it doesn't have to be in a nice restaurant either like other people have suggested. I work in a pancake house and make $750 to $800 per week working 30 to 32 hours including my paycheck. Also I get paid over $6 hourly not $2.15. It depends on what state you live in but 7 states in the US pay the same minimum wage for tipped jobs as other jobs. For example CA $8.00 per hr + tips, Alaska $7.15 per hr + tips etc. Also, most major corporations even food service corporations offer benefits nowadays you just have to shop around. Darden restaurants (Red Lobster, Olive Garden) have excellent benefits.
Reply:I would say a Full Time waiter would get more money. Even if the actual wage is less than a receptionist, Waiters, make more money in tips.
A lot of reception jobs are minimum wage, or not much better.
Reply:A full time receptionist will have more pay than a part time waiter
Reply:Your income as a waiter will fluctuate based on the amount of tips you get each shift and the amount of those tips will vary based on the type of restaurant. Whereas a receptionist your pay will be more stable/a set amount.
If you have a certain restaurant in mind, ask some of the other servers what their tips are like to get a better idea of how much you could be bringing home.
Comparing these things will help you decide which would be better for you.
Reply:Between the two choices I would take the waiter's job. When you are home continue your education so you can better yourself and your income. You can do this online just pick a profession that challenges you and that you are interested in.
Reply:Receptionist is a guaranteed amount, wait-staff has a minimum amount received, but then you never know how much you will receive in tips.
It depends on what motivates you and what your strengths are.
It doesn't do you any good to be a server, if you are not good under pressure, or get frustrated with people's weirdness.
Though similar skills, you know how much you will make as a receptionist (FT), waiting is more of a unexpected amount.
Reply:if you,re a stay at home mother then maybe a full-time position would be better, you'll have benefits and if you worked in arestaurant you would work evenings i.e. no daycare. I'm a waitress and I usually work from 7pm to 3 or even 4am...
Reply:A receptionist is an entry level position they make anywhere between $8.00-$9.00 an hour depending on experience. A waiter depending on state makes around $2.75 an hour and the rest is made up with tips. It really depends on what you want to do and what hours your want to work.
Reply:I know a good way of earning some extra cash and you dont even have to leave the comfort of your own bed.

Tell me your Opinion on paid Holidays!?
See at my job you have to be here on time work your full 8 hour shift two work days before and after the Holiday. Now I had to leave "the first day that rule started" to go get my sick daughter out of school. And I lost my Holiday pay because I didn't work my full 8 hour shift. Even though it wasn't planned for my daughter to get sick. Do you think this was right or what. It isn't even updated in the company hand book. There is holiday pay; yet there are retrictions like I am buying a damn product. Please give me your adult professional opinions!
Tell me your Opinion on paid Holidays!?
Your manager may or may not have some discretion in this matter. Since you returned to work with your child this may help your case. Have you asked your manager if there might be an exception made in this one instance?
This rule is designed to keep people from taking extra long weekends. This is a common policy in many companies.
Reply:that is pretty common policy with most compaines. some will give it to long term employees without the restrictions. Even though you could not help leaving, it is still the policy and probably not going to be contestable.
Reply:i say give the boss a little bit of p u s s y and you'll probably get a few days off
Reply:This is true for most companies. You have to work your full schedule to qualify for holiday pay. Since this wasn't in the handbook, you can possibly contest it.

What is your opinion of Pre Paid Legal services?
The company has a record of receiving cease and desist orders from the FTC and other regulatory agencies. They exhibit a pattern of disseminating deceptive and misleading information and applying fear tactics to encourage consumers to enroll in their plans. Once customers do enroll, they often find out they cannot receive the services they were promised or the services are not as represented. They recently lost a fraud case in Mississippi.
What is your opinion of Pre Paid Legal services?
I am a prepaid legal associate and at first, I thought it was something not for me bacsue I am a law abiding citizen, but then I saw how much more they can do for me. It ended up being great for me!

In your opinion, do teachers get paid too much, not enough, or just what they deserve?
I'm generally asking for US citizens, but anyone can answer.
If you're in the US, you can base your answer on the country as a whole or about your state alone.
If you don't know much about the salaries, here's a link to a US map that contains the average salary of 2004-2005 in any particular state.
Many of these state's salaries vary as much as $20G.

In your opinion, do teachers get paid too much, not enough, or just what they deserve?
I am a teacher...and without my husband's check, I would not earn enough to make a living. I would make my house payments and pay my bills - no car, no food, etc. So, considering this, I think teachers in NE do not make enough. Considering that we are the people who TEACH doctors to be doctors and lawyers to be lawyers, I think we get the shaft. If a dr. can make over $100,000 a year, why can't the person who taught him to do it make even half that?
AND, to address the people who are saying that we get so much paid vacation...yeah. You obvisouly aren't a teacher. Get a clue. I have had three days this entire summer where I haven't done school work - so get off of it already.
Reply:Not only do teachers teach doctors to be doctors and lawyers to be lawyers, they teach garbage men to be garbage men, homeless people to be homess people, etc. Should teachers pay be based upon these professions (yeah, I know homeless people are not actually in a profession)? Report Abuse
Reply:In general (and there are always specific exceptions to the general rule) ... teaching salaries are probably roughly in parity with overall market levels (that is ... about right) ... assuming the term 'deserves' can be translated to a question of ecomomic parity.

Two part underlying answer. (1) My opinion is that, in general, the teaching profession is undervalued. The fundamental nature of the role has changed over the past 3-4 decades and now requires a great deal of non-academic classroom management, knowledge and compliance with various laws, and compensating for frequent lack of parental and community support. However, (2) in local areas (central Ohio) salaries are proportionate with other market rates for a role with a higher degree of job security than most public sector jobs and with a significantly shorter work year (36 wks compared to 48-51 in most jobs).
{}
With respect to the questioner's observation about regional variations in salary levels, there are wide variations in salaries, cost of living, and standard of living in various parts of the US and I would not expect educator salaries to differ from that general condition.
Reply:sounds like you want a raise
Reply:I'm from Washington state and the average teacher salary is about $45,000. This may not seem like a big number for the long hours they put into their jobs, but we must remember they have like 2.5 months of summer vacation along with winter break, midwinter break, and spring break. So I think they get paid enough.
Reply:As an occupation I'd say they are underpaid. I'm from midwest.
But as a perk they get the summer off, but have to deal with unreasonable parents and disrespectful kids.
I can think of many occupations that are overpaid..:)

What I hate is the paperwork. It was always a pain, but now with No Child Left Behind, and Improving Learning for Children with Disabilities (ILCD), it's just ridiculous. It seems it doesn't matter what we do with the kids, as long as the paperwork is filed. I really should get paid extra just to do the hours of paperwork I do on my own time that has nothing to do with day-to-day instruction. Plus it would be nice not to have to get an extra job in the summer just to pay bills...

I wasnt suprised to see the lower salaries around $22,000, but I was shocked to see salaries upwards of $80,000 (I DONT live in a rich area).

May I say that $20,000 does not sound like a lot of money for a job that has so much pressure attached to it, nevertheless, I wonder how many teachers from both sides of the pond would take a pay cut if students behaviour in school improved to such an extent, that teachers could do their jobs without fear of disruption and constant misbehaviour by the minority that seem to have no intention of being educated. Teaching is a vocation and teachers are obviously not in the profession to become rich, I just wish that some pupils and some parents would let the teachers do their job as educators and be respected for the work that they do, under increasing pressure from so many quarters.

Thank you for allowing me to express an opinion.

What are some opinions on pre-paid visa cards?
I was thinking about looking into a pre-paid visa card.I was just wondering what some other opinions are on this. Good things, Bad things. Dad said it might cost a fee to get cash from an ATM but someone else said it will help with my credit when i turn 18?
What are some opinions on pre-paid visa cards?
Pre-paid cards are more about convenience than anything else. I guess they'd be useful if you didn't want to carry lots of cash or if you needed to pay via plastic and didn't have a regular credit or debit card.
There are fees associated with them -- one when you first get the card and put money on it, one when you "re-load" it with money, one if you don't use the card for a certain period of time (usually at least 6 months) known as an "inactivity" fee, one if you use an ATM that is not in the issuer's network, etc. Sometimes you even have to pay a fee if you use an ATM that is in the network. Be sure to read the fine print so you know what fees you will or could be charged.
Unfortunately, this type of card will not help you build your credit. You'd be better off getting a regular credit card with a low limit. Once you use it and pay it off for a while, the credit card company will usually increase your limit. This will help you build good credit.
Good luck!
P.S. Yes, there is a difference between pre-paid and secured credit cards. There was an article in the Wall Street Journal on 9/12/07 about building credit for young people that might be of interest to you. I think you might have to sign up for a free trial subscription in order to read the article. If you go to your library to see the hard copy of the paper, the article is in section D (Personal Journal) on the first page.
Reply:I haven't looked into these too much but I think they sound good. It would defintely help you with credit, you don't have to worry about carrying cash, almost all places take visa nowadays, and it will teach responsibility with money without allowing you to go into debt.
Reply:A secured Visa will help with your credit score. A Visa Gift Card will not. I think that is what these other people are talking about.
There are limits set with a secured Visa as well. And these definitely will help establish credit.
Reply:a prepaid card is just as it says 'prepaid' meaning that when u get it YOU put money on the card before u can use it. they do not do credit checks so earning credit on your credit score will not happen. you can use it at an atm, grocery stores, malls, etc....
its kind of like a gift card, when the money is gone u can put more on it.
all u need is to be 18 years old with a valid government-issued ID

What is your opinion of the hundred of millions of dollars currently being paid out by the Catholic Church to?
victims of clergy sexiual abuse? One of my friends, a devout Catholic, believes that these people should not receive retribution, particularly years later. What do you think about this? NOTE: I am not taking a stand one way or the other.
What is your opinion of the hundred of millions of dollars currently being paid out by the Catholic Church to?
It is difficult to establish the truth of the allegations of abuse, but apparently the Church found them sufficiently credible to pay up. Now, if they can only correct the problem....
Reply:Hard for me to believe you don't have an opinion, Kudos
for not "A" your own "Q"-------------I think if it is proved in
court they should get all they can. And I am not one who believes in frivolous law suits--Liken to the woman who spilt

Reply:It's not charity, the church owes this to those victims.
Reply:The statute of limitations is the ONLY reason that these cases aren't being tried in a criminal court.
Frankly, I'm not sure that the pay out is enough. Sex abuse can mess someone up for life. The priests who have been found guilty (if there is enough evidence to pay the victims, then there surely is enough to determine guilt), should be removed from the church entirely. The church shouldn't be allowed to maintain the cover-up.
Reply:I am a practicing Catholic, and my purpose in helping the victims is just that, helping the victims.

Reply:Now I don't know what to think when I'm in a Catholic church and I hear someone say "I've gotta get me some of that!"
Reply:I agree with your friend. Coming forward years after the fact is bull. They knew it was wrong when they did it. They should not get a dime! That's my belief!
Reply:They can't pay enough.
Why would your friend think that young boys raped and sodomized by priests not deserve any money?
Your friend is suffering from cognitive dissonance.
Reply:I think that if you can't throw them in jail then make them pay for their sins.
Reply:I am a "confirmed" catholic, born in 59, the only thing I haven't done in the church is my funeral. I think it is a total disgrace. I do support the idea of celibacy for the father of the church, after all, just like the sisters, he has given himself to the service of our lord, he should be above the "sins-pleasure" of the flesh, .....I don't understand how any amount of money could fix the hurt these people may or may not have had inflicted on them....just my opinion
Reply:I am happy that victims are compensated. Churches should not hawk money to themselves anyway.
Reply:if that's all the church gets to do then they got away easy. if i committed a crime and i had the details of the crime hidden and in exchange my insurance and the church community gets to pay the victims of the crime then i got away easy. So i think the church got away easy and who knows how many more priests are still unconvicted because they paid off the victims. I would feel slightly better if the money actually came out of the pocket of the abusive priests but no, the faithful churchies are footing the bill
Reply:I think child sexual abuse is one of the worst crimes out there and it is unfortunate for generations of children, their families, the priests and their supervisors. The victims - and I do not believe all of them are legitimate - deserve compensation. But how much is enough? This is certainly a heinous crime, and awards should be large enough to pay for any and all counseling, disabilities, medical needs, etc of the victim. Money should also be awarded for pain and suffering. But it is also important to remember that throwing money at the problem is not going to fix it.
The priests themselves not only are suffering a perversion, but the church let them down by not meeting the situation head on. This would have saved future victims, gotten the priests some help, and maybe even helped in their eventual salvation. Those who covered this up for so long also deserve punishment, and I'm sure it will be coming.
That said, it should be noted that only a small percentage of the millions of men who served as priests were involved in this behavior. Unfortunately, the BSA has just uncovered much the same, and even ministers have been accused of having relations with parishoners who came to them for counseling.
I guess the botton line to my meanderings is that I am very conflicted over the entire situation. It is horrible for all involved.
Reply:uh ... that would be "alleged" victims of sexual abuse. It's just amazing how many men experienced "sudden recall of suppressed childhood memories" once the cash started flowing. And conveniently, the supposed perpetrators were mostly dead and unable to defend themselves. But the cost of settlements is apparently less than the cost of so many separate trials. There is a lot of free cash being distributed, and a lot of people laughing up their sleeve at taking the Church for a ride. I'm not denying that such crimes happened, but the opportunity for reverse abuse in this situation is obvious, and there are plenty of people taking advantage of it.
Reply:I think it great. Its about time the Catholic church did something right in this area. When Jesus said, "Suffer the little children, com onto me", that isn't what he meant.
Reply:I am outraged that a "pay out" is even necessary. I have a real personal problem with anything to do with children, the elderly, abuse victums, and animals. It is unacceptable on any level. Period.
Reply:Glad none of it is my money.

Anyone have an opinion on Pre-Paid Legal?
A co-workers husband is trying to get me to sign up for pre-paid legal services. Any opinions?
Anyone have an opinion on Pre-Paid Legal?
How often have you consulted a lawyer in the last five years?
See, you do not to buy Lawyer Insurance. Costs more than a visit to a lawyer
Reply:You must find out if this is something you need at this time in your life, also he wants to sign u up to make a commission off u.
If at this time you dont need a legal service only to make someone else richer then dont go for it. Do not allow someone else to use u for their personal gain!.
Reply:Don't waste your money. My boss was one of their referral attorneys for couple of years, and won't do it again. They claim to get you a discount on legal fees, but that 20% or 25% discount on a $5000 retainer isn't much, and by the time you might ever need to hire a lawyer, you've spent way more than the discount amount in monthly fees. Just put the money in a savings account and you'll have it if you ever need to hire a lawyer for something.
Reply:the typical type of use of an attorney's services would be with regard to an accident...and those you don't pay an attorney for. and if you planned to sue anyone you'd represent yourself in small claims court. And, if you needed a divorce you could do that yourself.
So what you'd need an attorney for would be suing a person
for over $5,000, for some problem when a person is suing you, or if you caused an accident, if you had a problem regarding your home or land.
From my experience pre-paid legal is for small cases, not for something extensive. So it depends on your need.
Reply:I am a prepaid legal associate and most of the people who will answer you have no knowledge of the services. If you are speaking of pre-paid legal inc., let me correct someof the things people on here have said. We do not get lawyesr by zip code. Many law firms in each state are on waiting lists and there is a huge criteria to be chosen as our law firm. We only take the top law firms in each state. Oure referral firsm are the same. If someone only got a 20% discount, then they should have reported the firm. The lawyers do not ask for money after the case is over. Again, they will get dropped and when the firm is getting paid well over $100,000 a month, in my state it is over $500,000 a month on a retainer by the company, that is the last thing they want is to get dropped. They will answer any legal question you have. Many people do not realize to what extent they can use them for. For example, I wanted to return an item to a store. The store would not allow me. I called my lawyer, I returned it for a full refund, got an apology letter and a gift certificate. Pre-paid legal is not a scam. We are publically traded on the New York Stock Exchange and we are endorsed by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, as well as attorney generals, judges, etc. I hope I defended them well. Our founder has a heart of gold, so my suggestion to you is to not ask people's opinions on this board. Youget a lot of uneducated people handing out opinions. Do the research yourself and you will see.
Reply:Nothing illegal but a bit of a scam.
Reply:My opinion is that I think it depends on how much you really will use the service. I signed up for pre-pay legal with an employer I had many years ago. I think I used it one time in about 2 years, and when I did call with a question, the lawyer I spoke with really didn't answer my question (although he tried).
If I remember correctly, the service was reasonable; about $6 per paycheck (bi-weekly-and it's been a while). But, since I never really needed it, I would have been smarter to keep the $6 in my pocket and just hire a lawyer if I really needed one.
Lastly, and I can't confirm this, I think pre-paid legal just covers questions, and having documents prepared and court appearances cost extra.
Reply:It seems that anytime you prepay for services be it legal or medical, one never needs it. It's a psychological thing. Everything is status quo if you are covered and you feel good and comfortable and thus life is good. Once you are not covered, the fear factor sets in and it slowly erodes the your comfort zone and self-confidence because you are constantly worrying about WHAT IF? The professions and insurance people have always relied on the fear factor. Thus individuals pay out huge sums of money so they can feel COVERED and thus safe. Sadly, many times you are not as covered as you may think. The downside of coverage these days is that much that is most commonly needed is not covered and you pay out of pocket anyway. Just something to think about before delving into the unknown and paying for something that may never be of help to you.
Reply:Don't know if this will help. Right after I became licensed to be a lawyer I was approached by several organizations who sold pre-paid legal services to become part of their group. I turned them down because I had little or no experience so how could I help anyone, and because they appeared to be only interested in getting lawyers by zip code (not by ability) so they would have ties to each state.
Years later I have had clients who belonged to pre-paid groups but decided to go outside of the group because of the limited choice of lawyers and because the lawyers in the group did not have certain experience.
To me, when a family has an instance where they need a competent lawyer they should not be limited to just a few that belong to a certain group. It is like the HMO who insists that patients go to only certain doctors. Personally, I prefer to shop around and get the best professional for my situation.
Reply:It is my knowledge that reputable lawyers take money after your case is over.

I'd like someones personal opinion about how much one couple should get paid for taking care of a motel?
We have no rent nor utility bills. We have a fair size apartment so that's good too. But, 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week we are stuck here. We do the front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance. In your opinion, what do you think we should get a month for doing this?
I'd like someones personal opinion about how much one couple should get paid for taking care of a motel?
How many rooms? Occupancy Rate? all are things you need to take into consideration. Value of the apartment, Utility expenses and current $ income need to be compared also.
Reply:$5.15 USD per hour each (I asume each one of you will work for 12 hours each day)
Reply:What is the average rent in your area for an apartment? What is the average utility expenses? How many hours a day are you actually doing maintenance and housekeeping?
I would say that the apartment covers the front desk expenses. You should at least get minimum wage for housekeeping and maintenance hours.
Reply:U SHOULD GET AT LEAST $2000 A MONTH. IF UR NOT GETTING IT, THEN MAYBE IT'S TIME TO MOVE ON.

There is a lot of criticism about athletes being paid too much. What is your opinion?
it's true.
basketball players get several million for every basket they make.
There is a lot of criticism about athletes being paid too much. What is your opinion?
Many athletes are overpaid but hey what can we do about it? not too much i'm afraid.

In your opinion, how much should secretaries be paid?
Depends where you work, what your responsibilities are and how long you have worked there. However, I think an average administrative assistant (formerly referred to as secretaries) makes between $30-$40,000.
In your opinion, how much should secretaries be paid?
I agree with Julie. I thought they changed the title to Administrative Professionals. The term Secretary has always been demeaning. Examples include:
Secretary General of the UN
Secretary of State
Secretary of Defense
Etc.
Reply:You should agree it depends upon job location, size of company, your experience and how good you are.

Are there any free sites for paid surveys based on your opinions with not cost to start?
I want to find a free paid survey site where I get paid for my opinions with no cost to start and is legit. I wanted to know if anyone know any so I can get a little change and everything. Thanks so much.
Are there any free sites for paid surveys based on your opinions with not cost to start?
there are numerous sites like that, and i go into detail in my blog http://erykjay.blogspot.com/
i also provide video tutorials, general tips, and a list of sites to avoid... feel free to contact me with any additional questions... contact information on my page.
Reply:I take surveys at mysurvey.com. It's free to sign up and you do get paid, though it takes a while to earn enough "points" to get paid. You get $10 for each 1000 points you earn. I've made about $70 from them so far. I think it all depends on what surveys you qualify for, so you may fare better. But it is free to join and they do pay you money.
Reply:Send me your email address and I'll send you a few links to various different sites that are free to join. Don't expect to make hundreds and hundreds of dollars because the time you have to put into survey's is a lot. They are fun to do, you can make a little bit of money and their are prizes you can make as well.

Which 'on car' paid advertising company is the best in your opinion ? UK ONLY?
I am looking for a company who pays car drivers to have an advert on their car.
Can someone who has experience of using one of these companies tell me which is the best in terms of service, pay and contractual commitments
Which 'on car' paid advertising company is the best in your opinion ? UK ONLY?
why don't you approach a company you would like on your car and see what they say
I'm sure they pay you for 1 years advertising on your car, they can either renew or end
Reply:not done this but know many taxi drivers do have paid for advertising on their cab's. There may not be a market for 'private' advertising but it pays to at least ask. try chatting to a cab driver who will know at least of the sites or somebody who has the knowledge you seek.
good luck.

Good Morning. In your intelligent opinion, what is the best web site to visit for real on line paid work?
Im looking for ways to make money on line that is ligitimate, moral, ethical and trustworthy....and one that also offers something(s) worth while to the general public.
Does something like this actually exist? I trust the publics suggestions. Thank You.
Good Morning. In your intelligent opinion, what is the best web site to visit for real on line paid work?
You can check some freelance sites such as guru.com elance.com odesk.com and others. They allow you to bid on contracts by offering your professional services to companies and individuals all over the world.
example: http://www.elance.com/p/landing/provider... - type the job that you feel confident doing on line and see what you'll get. Good luck.
Reply:The onlly one that has worked for me is Wealthy Affiliate. It teaches you how to advertise for online merchants and earn commissions. You choose from thousands of merchants, so you can deal with moral, ethical, and trustworthy companies and point people to their product or service. In the process you are helping people find what they need. You can also warn them of companies they shouldn't do business with.

What is the general opinion of getting paid for doing on-line surveys positive or negative? I wanted to know.?
I need some easy way to earn more money but don't wanna sign up for something that won't work or that has too many strings attached I have heard of survey scout and might go with them if I get a positive response, otherwise I will look elswhere for additional income, which might mean a second job, which stinks
What is the general opinion of getting paid for doing on-line surveys positive or negative? I wanted to know.?
I signed up for several 'survey' sites that promised to pay for your answers. I can't speak for all of them, but the ones that I signed up with only sent me unwanted emails, unwanted phone calls from telemarketers and only 'paid' me by sending me to other websites. I have not received a cent from any of them, and I've had to get on the "Do Not Call" list. I can ony hope things will turn out better for you.
Reply:Getting paid is always a good thing, but that comes too close to telemarketing to be ethical.

What in you opinion is one of the very best pre-paid phone service?
I have Virgin Moble, and I have had it for more than 2 years. But I would like to know is Boost better? Or, Maybe the GO phone? And is Virgin Moble, moble to moble with Sprint?
What in you opinion is one of the very best pre-paid phone service?
Alltel has the best pay as you go if you don't use your phone a ton. You can get 2 of their unlimited features for only .75 a day. So if you text a lot and don't really use your phone for calling the plan is great. So it ends up being $22.50 a month
Unlimited Mobile-to-Mobile
Unlimited Night %26amp; Weekend Minutes
Unlimited Favorite Number Calling
Unlimited Text Messaging
Plus, all other calls are only 10¢ a minute
3 Unlimited features for $1 a day
4 Unlimited features for $1.25 a day
Reply:Page Plus is better, they are the cheapest with a nationwide network, calls cost 6¢ per minute with no daily fees on the regular plan or you can get free nights and weekends for 47¢ per day or free anytime for 2.99 per day. and they let you use any verizon phone.

Feminists: What is your opinion on the fact that WNBA players get paid far less than NBA players?
Do you consider this to be discrimination, since women are in essence getting paid less to do the exact same job as men?
The highest paid WNBA (women) players are only making just over $80,000 a year. The highest paid NBA (men) players make over 30 million dollars a year. The lowest-paid WNBA players make about $30,000 a year, while the lowest-paid NBA players make $200,000 a year -- which is still higher than the highest-paid WNBA player. Is this fair?
Or, like me, do you base this pay-discrepancy on the fact that women's basketball is less exciting, as perceived by the general public in the fact that far less people watch or attend WNBA games than NBA games.
Are a lot of female basketball players in general envious and jealous towards male basketball players about this fact?
Feminists: What is your opinion on the fact that WNBA players get paid far less than NBA players?
I'm not a feminist, but....
Have you ever tried watching WNBA games?
*yawn*...I just can't get into watching what looks like a court full of wanna be men, shootin hoop.
NBA, on the other hand, oh yeah.
I'm not sure what the women players think....
I would hope they understood the dynamics of business...
he who brings in more money via fans/customers makes more money.
Edit: Lycraspandex....
well you said exactly what I was thinking but was trying to be politically correct, and not offend the butch lesbian community.
(as I have nothing against them).
Again, the pay is based on "fan base", I personally don't know any WNBA fans....I wouldnt go to a game if you gave me the tickets for free....but I would pay to see an NBA game.
Edit:
excellent point on the female supermodles.
There are always going to be certain careers that are dominated by one particular sex...we all have our strengths and weaknesses....
Reply:The simple truth is that WNBA isn't as popular as NBA, so it only makes sense that their pay isn't going to be as high as men's.
Reply:The quality of play in the WNBA (with their 6" vertical jumps) is far less than that of the NBA. Why should 3rd rate players make as much as the best players in the world???
Reply:Yup it's all popularity not sexism.
Reply:It upsets me a lot that women athletes receive so much less pay than men. But I guess the root of the problem is that so many people find women's sports to be "boring", and that's what upsets me the most. But I don't guess there's really anything that can be done about it. The reason why women make less (attracting a smaller fan base) is certainly LOGICAL, even if it is really saddening.
Reply:Well, yes I think it's unfair. But more people watch the NBA than the WNBA. But maybe the WNBA are happy with their pay, but if they want more money then they should.
Reply:I'm a feminist; but I'm also a capitalist.
The market determines the salaries of the players (male or female). Male basketball is more extreme and right now, more popular so more ticket sales and more t-shirt sales, etc...more dough to pay the players with. Maybe someday the women's teams will draw the same sorts of crowds.
Reply:No, its perfectly legitimate. People don't go to WNBA games. The women aren't generating the money like the NBA players are. And if people want to say that's men fault because they don't go to WNBA games, then, with that logic, its women's fault for not going to WNBA games. Nobody complains that male models make less- they see it as fair. And it IS. Not everything is supposed to be fair- thats what makes it fair. That it just, got forbid, goes the way it goes.
Reply:If less people watch WNBA, then there's less money coming from sponsors and commercials. Therefore, it makes sense that they are paid less.
Someone mentionned tennis: if they do get more attention (coverage, etc.) than men but get paid less, then that's not fair.
Sport is run by sponsors and commercials, so there's nothing sexist about paying less people who generate less money.
And you gave a good example with models: female models make more than male ones.
Reply:As their popularity increases, so will their paychecks. This is one area, however, where women may not be able to catch up with men. Because of our physical differences and limitations, women are not as capable as men to perform spectacularly in certain sports...this is not always true, but in general, I think it is. People pay money to see a spectacular show....men are able to jump higher, they have more strength, and so forth. There are exceptions, of course, but in general I think that this is the reason it's more fun to watch men play (and why men attract a larger audience in sports) than women do. However, women's sports (like basketball) are attracting bigger audiences now more than ever before.
Reply:I don't think this one has to do with sexism and discrimination...it's a simple fact of supply and demand...there is more money being made in the NBA than the WNBA and the "workers" will profit accordingly.
Reply:Its funny how its okay beeing payed second to the rules of the marker when you are a pro sportsman, but not when you do some other job.
Reply:This is no different, really, than the fact that some male NBA players make much more money than other ones. In fact, the NBA makes money, some of which is used to subsidize the WNBA, which loses money. If the WNBA players were to get the same salary as NBA players, the league would just be folded. Also, the NBA plays more games per season (more than twice as many), and NBA games are 20% longer, so it's really not even the same work.
If you want an example of unfairness in sports pay, it's men's versus women's tennis. For a long time, women's tennis has been getting higher ratings than men's tennis, but the men's prizes have been bigger.
Disclaimer: I'm not sure what definition you use for feminists. I think people from both sexes should receive opportunities and rewards proportionate to their achievements, and that this will not always be equal, especially in things like sports, where the physical differences between men and women really matter.
Reply:I'm not surprised. There isn't as much of a market for the WNBA as there is for the NBA. Still, I believe that professional athletes shouldn't be making that kind of money. There are so many other uses for it.
Reply:One of my female students who plays college ball wrote a paper about this last year. I think it sucks. You also fail to mention that a great number of female ball players have *second jobs* as coaches. Can you imagine a male ball player taking a second job? Laughable.
I'm also pretty sure that male athletes get away with far more illegal crap than their female counterparts. Rape and sexual harassment and domestic violence, anyone? Shootings at your place of residence? The media is making a bigger deal out of Vick's dogfighting than it makes when we find out one of innumerable athletes is beating his wife again.
But all of this merely shows that ... that's corporate America for you. The media must keep busy making it difficult for people to see or hear anything new or different, dictating what game you're going to watch on what channel when because it doesn't offer the game you *really* want to watch - or offer anything new in general. Our culture barely reads books, but worships athletes like movie stars. (Male) athletes are excessively and ridiculously overpaid. I don't even know how their pay scales got to be set so high in the first place. It's nonsense.
Most newspaper sports writers I've personally known held more respect and appreciation for college ball, since they realize the pro leagues in many of these sports might as well be circuses, with drugs and stunts and drama. Kind of like ... pro wrestling. College is the last place to see a real game with real effort and real sportsmanship.

Basically you get a spam email address %26amp; complete the offers for $0.50%26amp;up. Then they send you a check once you get up to $10 or more. The 50 cents can really add up. Like I said, I've made almost $8 my first day. To sign up go here:

Reply:There are several survey sites that are legit, your not going to get rich doing them though. Do not give anyone your SSN there are lots of sites out there that are legit and they do not need this info from you. Nor do you have to pay to join. I am a member of several.

How can I be called more often to participate in Paid Focus Group or Consumer Opinion Surveys?
I once participated in a focus group or consumer opinion survey for credit cards and was paid $100 for the 90 minutes I was with the group. I know there are online survey websites which pay you, but I would be more interested in going to a live, sit-down discussion, because I would rather speak my answers and get feedback, rather than type.
I actually enjoyed going on the survey (I was mailed an invitation), and it was easy extra money for basically just stating my opinion.
I live in the NJ/NY area, and would like to know if there is any company I can sign up with to get called for a survey on a more regular basis.
It was a seemingly random invitation, and I wanted to know if there is something I can do to be chosen more often.
Thanks in advance!

I have been making money on internet for 4 years and I was personally scammed by a good many making money methods. Finally,I found the most legitimate, effective and fast way for beginner to make money is doing paid surveys if you have a computer with Internet access and can sit at your computer for 1.5-3 hours per day.
But before joining a paid survey network, you should be sure that the paid survey company satisfies the following minimum requirements:
1. In business for at least 1 year.
2. Well organized, easy to navigate directories.
3. Directories updated at least weekly.
4. Helpful resources available for newcomers.
5. No "waiting period". Eligible immediately..
And more,more....
I understand it is difficult for a new online money maker to judge whether a paid survey site is good or not.So I found a survey club to help beginner make money on internet. You can visit the club to find how to earn money easily and legally.Hope that help you.
All information on the club free!!!

Are jobs that I have to call people and ask them for their opinion paid on commission or set?
i'm not doing any selling.. just calling random people and asking for their opinions and research. Are these kinds of jobs often set paid or what? how does it work? do you know?

Survey work is paid at a set (but low) rate. If you are bilingual you may get a higher pay rate. In Canada the average rate for survey work is $9 an hour. And can be as high as $11 an hour if you are bilingual.
The work itself is not always constant. Sometimes there is lots of work, and other times there is not very much. But you will get paid for when you do work.
For me, there were times when I had no work for several weeks. I still had to call in every day to find out if there was any work. January and February (middle of winter) are usually slow months.
Some companies give quarterly bonuses depending on how many surveys you do, and other companies don't.
And one more thing - you may be required to work a weekend shift. The weekend requirement was interfering with my work-life balance. I eventually got told that if I did not work weekends, I would be fired. So I left.
Reply:I think that you get paid both an hourly pay and part commission for making the sale.
