Why do Rush Limbaugh fans blindly take his statements as fact instead of as an opinion?

Apparently a lot folks do because someone thinks he's worth 300 Mill. Gotta have a lot of sheep to earn that pay.

And do you think the reason Democratic talk radio never stays on the air for long is because the Dems and Independants like to think on their own?

Why do Rush Limbaugh fans blindly take his statements as fact instead of as an opinion?
Dems have jobs, so they can't commit to listen to a radio ****** three hours a day.

Fox News is more insidious; pictures speak a thousand words.
Reply:Actually it's 400 million

And if you bother to go to his website, he has links for everything he references.

He does not represent the views of all listeners. All he does is provoke people to think,

Lib radio doesnt succeed because it sucks! Who the hell wants to hear miserable people whine, complain and peddle their naive and close minded views.

He does however, dissect the media and politicians to expose their real agenda. And he does it like a surgeon.

As far as KNOWLEDGE

Which party controls the U.S. House? Who is the current Secretary of State? Who is the president of Russia?

If you know all three questions, you could be a Rush Limbaugh listener. According to a new study by the Pew Research Center for the People and the Press, Rush Limbaugh listeners place second in the category of "high knowledge." This is above the pretentious New Yorker, the almost as pretentious NPR, news magazines like Time, the "News Hour with Jim Lehrer," and cable news outlets.

Doesn't "acting" smart count for something? It only does in New York socials and in "An Inconvenient Truth."

Reply:Because he's usually right. And he's always interesting.

The dem talk radio hot air is not interesting enough to get advertisers or listeners. Since they usually champion ideas that don't benefit "regular" people, why would anyone but others like them want to listen to what they say?

The money Rush gets says it all. The lefties usually need special "kool-aid" to get anyone to listen to and agree with with them.
Reply:they do not as far as i know. and the reason for the dems lack of on-air success is they work along the lines of hate, not differing of opinion. ref to air america. most people know rush speaks his opinions and refers to sources when ranting about facts. like him or not he has the ear of millions. and how do the attacks on obama from the dailykos, mediamatters and huffington post allow for individual thinking, they are threatening to withhold donations because obama has moved towards the middle. that is bordering coercive.
Reply:The Dems don't have the same popularity on the radio for one simple reason: Nobody wants to listen to them. Stop and think about why that is. The think about why it would be that Rush, and Hannity, and Savage, and Ingraham, and Levin are so damned popular. There's a message there, even if you refuse to acknowledge it.
Reply:Maybe you should look at the Obama campaign to see why so many sheep "follow the leader".

Maybe Democratic radio goes off the air because all the working stiffs that vote for them are at work when they are on the air and their bosses won't let them listen to anyone but Rush!

As far as Limbaugh goes did you stop to think why people like Alex Jones get so much attention?

Maybe because they are right Limbaugh anyway!

They get word of mouth advertising and I never hear of a Democratic radio show.

What about NPR?
Reply:No to your second posture, I have never met a dem who thinks for themselves, thank you. Mr. Limbaugh is worth $400 mill because he does state FACTS and not opinions. Brush up on this man before you lie about him.....................
Reply:Most of them are uneducated and incapable of making choices of their own. They refuse to do the research and are like sheep.
Reply:Because Rush backs up his statements with facts where as Air America just made accusations with nothing to back it up. Rush, Hannity and Bortz will let a liberal on the air with them but someone like Al Gore and the like will not.
Reply:Rush Limbaugh is entertaining. Even people who are completly full of **** can make it big on radio if they're entertaining enough.
Reply:The contract was for 400 million dollars, or are you already

subtracting the Obama tax?
Reply:Any type of political pundit, or political "observer" is fodder.
Reply:Rush is the answer to 2008 version of Jim Jones I tell what is right no is to question if Rush is right or wrong.
Reply:The more dems talk through their beliefs, the more they realize it's nothing but BS.
Reply:Because they can't think for themselves. It's to painful to them.
Reply:i dont know but all i know is that he sure is not worth 400 million dollars. wtf?!
Reply:I listen to the first 20 minutes, facts should permeate his

program and don;t
