What in your opinion is the most overrated food that they make a big deal of but in the end u are disappointed

For me it was the Filet Mignion. I looked so forward to eating it till i saw how small it was %26amp; saw how much i had to pay for it. I was like huh? Paying that much for this small thing?

Reply:for me it's frozen boxed food like Healthy choice, smart ones etc. for me anything that comes frozen in a box is overrated. the picture on the outside of the box looks sooooo good, until you cook it. most of the time it is either too salty, or very bland. I only cook homemade for the most part now. my kids and husband love it. even they don't like frozen foods now.
Reply:I have a peeve about shrimp with the tail on. Unless it is Shrimp cocktail and you use the tail as a serving apparatus it shouldn't be in the dish. I find it disgusting to have a bite of a delicious dish (Scampi over rice comes to mind) and then have to spit a piece of it out.

Cheese is overrated. Every kind of cheese: Cheddar, alfreddo, parmesan, EVERYTHING.





It's repulsive, I can't stand it - and everyone else thinks I'm insane for it :P





Sushi is way too overrated as well
Reply:Scooter, you have never cooked fillet Mignon at home? It's the only way to have it. You get the size you want, it's maybe too tender for a lot of people. Marinate it %26amp; have sauce on the side, yum.
