Do you think GM workers are paid too much?

My father works there so I personally don't think so, because if he wasn't fortunate enough to have this job my family would be living on the streets. My father is 48 years old and has worked there for 30 years, in that time his wages have risen to about $28 dollars an hour. What is your opinion?

Reply:Heck, yeah! When you look at the amount other people make that work MUCH harder, you will see that GM pays their people an absurd amount. Most GM works have very little schooling and start out making more then the average person. Hospital workers that have your life in their hands make less then a GM worker.
Reply:Yes, too much, especially when you take into account the other benefits. Unions were a good idea that has gone too far and ended up pricing the U.S. out of the market and sending jobs and industry overseas.
