No because only dems would ever be stupid enough to pay 50% taxes. Then while speaking in the dem-o-nise language of taxation, they would invent more new taxes.

Reply:The Massachusetts state income tax form has a box where one can elect to pay a higher rate of tax. I know because I had to pay part-year resident income tax as a result of working in Boston on a contract for 6 months. I almost had an aneurysm from laughing so hard. I would really like to know how many of the liberals in Massachusetts avail themselves of this splendid opportunity.

Maybe a fairer thing to do is that the tax dollars of democrats will only to pay for democrat proposals and bills and the tax dollars of republicans will go to pay for only the republicans bills and proposals.
