I'd like your opinion, is this girl scamming me? I paid a girl to organize some of my paperwork 4 my business

I asked her to come back again weeks later and help 1 last time. She was sick when I asked her. I sent her some cash so she could pay her rent and she promised to be back by Dec. 14th. She postponed twice. Then I got an e-mail saying-"I'm sorry I'm a terrible person sometimes, I didn't mean to take advantage of U. this week though?" Didn't hear from her for 10 days, finally I found a phone# and talked to her. She said she had Mono and apologized for not contacting me. I wait for her to get better and e-mailed her yesterday. Now she says she will have her tonsils taken out at the end of this month. RECAP-cash sent to her while she had a bad flu, then she has Mono and said it was the third time in 2 mos. she had been really ill. Now tonsil removal. I believe anything is possible but it sounds like she's givin me the runaround. Am I wrong to think she's scamming me?

Yep, you got scammed. That's why you don't pay for services until AFTER they've been rendered.





If you have an invoice from here or a receipt that you paid her, you can try to recover your outlays in court. Otherwise you're out of luck.

Write it off as a loss and don't look back.
