Is it just a nice luxury, or the beginning of a world where only the rich can afford to poo in peace?

now to answer your question, perhaps those specific companies are charging for piss time because they're running low on some other profits or maybe they use those coins for toilet paper money.

i just thought of it as keeping the toilets up and running and people needing money to do that





as for rich pooping in a pay toilet? they probably wouldn't go there anyway


their butlers are at home with the toilet paper. ready and waiting to assist

Reply:Europe has had pay toilets for a while. I think they are great! They don't cost much but the money goes towards public works. And they are usually better maintained that regular public restrooms.





Plus if your city has them, you most likely go to the bathroom at work or home. The majority of the money is coming from tourists, which could potentially lower your taxes the same way toll roads do!
Reply:I haven't seen one of them for awhile now, but I certainly do remember when there were a lot of them when I was a kid. I always tho't it was the dumbest, unfair thing to do to someone who really had to "go", but just didn't have the proper change to be able to get in the blasted door. When we did, there was always some kind hearted woman who was willing to hold the door for someone who just happened to be there %26amp; let them in for free. Who knows who paid the initial fee, but you'd better be sure I also was one to hold the door %26amp; let someone in for free too. Could never figure out the reasoning tho, because they were just as sloppy as any other rest room. If memory serves me correctly, I think they use to have them at the shore in Ocean City. (NJ)
Reply:I remember back in the day when there were coin slots on each stall and you had to put a dime in there. I think it was maybe back in the 70's. Can't remember if it was public bathrooms in the malls or the upscale Dept. Stores that did that. I figured out how to crawl underneath the stalls to go without paying for it. What a stupid idea! pay to go to use the toilet. I guess if you don't have the $$ you'd be p.o'd. LOL
Reply:umm.. those actually exist? What if a poor person really needs to use the bathroom? Do they simply just have an accident? how does that work exactly? You pay and it flushes? You pay and the bowl opens? I don't get it... god anything for a quick buck, how sick is the world now.
Reply:I think that if they are public and paid they are likely to be better cleaned. I would rather pay and use a clean restroom than go somewhere where it so smelly it makes you get a gag reflex!





Btw, no I'm not rich. Hardly. I just have an aversion to dirty public restrooms!

Reply:Wow! I haven't had to pay to go to the bathroom in ages!!! I'm 36 now and when I was a kid, the local mall had a change thingy on the bathroom door...it cost a dime to go potty! They don't charge anymore now.

Reply:That's a load of crap..literally! I personally don't use public toilets because they are filthy but it looks like were going to be walking around with pooper scoopers and plastic bags like when we walk our dogs sometime in the future.
Reply:I think pay toilets are a stupid idea. Rich people shouldn't have so much of an advantage. If you want nicer toilets, get better porta-potties.
