I am just trying to gether information and no one in my family has life insurance for me to ask their opinion about it. My husband and I are 43 (him) and 30 (me) and would be looking to make sure if something was to happen the house, car, and bills would be paid at least for a few years. Any recommendations on how much, companies, and type THANKS
Life Insurance? What is the difference between term and in your opinion what is the better choice?
I would go to MetLife. They have been around since 1868 and they have the most life insurance outstanding of any company. You can have one of their agents come up with a plan if you die. Based on what your budget is they can recommend a different array of products. For people that do not have much money term might be best b/c it will cover the need with very little out of pocket cost. If you have more room in your budget you might look at a whole life which will have a savings component with guaranteed premiums for the rest of your life.
Reply:Term insurance and permanent insurance have two different uses.
Term insurance gives you the maximum amount of coverage at lowest possible price, and can be locked in for durations between 5-30 years. If your needs last longer than that you may want to consider permanent insurance.
You can compare rates of many of best companies online to help make decision that works best for you.
Reply:You need to talk to your local agent who does the house %26amp; car insurance, and take the time to discuss the situation with him. You need more detailed goals, and a guy you can keep going back to for advise as your life situation changes.
