What is Obama's opinion on the tax cuts that we all have enjoyed?

All of us who work and have federal tax witheld have been paying less, Will Obama continue this or end it?

What is Obama's opinion on the tax cuts that we all have enjoyed?
He will end it.

Seems any one working is the Rich, according to Obama.
Reply:I just read an article on that, they were discussing His,and John McCains issues with taxes. Obama plans to let the temporary tax cuts on capital gains expire, and not renew it. that would effect anybody that has income from the sale of stocks, bonds, futures and other investments (key word is SALE) John McCain plans to continue with the Bush tax cuts, and also ask for more corporate tax cuts. Obama plans on raising taxes of all incomes over $250,000 a year.

To be honest, people don't want taxes, but they want Homeland Security, they want the war to continue, they want to pay Pakistan to fight Al-Qaida, but nobody wants to raise taxes to pay for the extra stuff?

I have included a link with all of the Proposals from Mr. McCain, and also Mr. Obama
Reply:He wants the rich to pay more, and the poor to pay less simply put. Basically there will be a sort of flat tax rate, the rich will pay the same rate as the poor, but more money obviously. There will also be exceptions made to firefighters, teachers, police officers etc.
Reply:you haven't enjoyed any tax cuts from the bush administration only if you are in the 1 million dollar range in salary would you have seen any benefits . Obama will do away with these horrendous Bush tax cuts that tax the middle class but help the wealthy in this country . Obama plan to get rid of these Bush tax cuts that give Corporations a tax brake to outsource Americans jobs oversea.
Reply:Obama will raise taxes on those making more than $250,000. If you make less than $50,000 you'll get a $1,000 tax break. He'll end the cap on Social Security taxes. That means that people whose income exceeds a certain amount will pay SS taxes throughout the year just like most of us do. He would close tax loopholes for the rich and take away tax breaks to companies that ship jobs overseas.

McCain wants to make Bush's tax cuts to the rich permanent. I don't know what category you fall into, but that should do it.
Reply:Personnally I think he has probably enjoyed a nice tax savings. So much so, he gave Trinity church beaucoup bucks. Who knows what he will do. He has been saying anything to get elected. Remember how bush said one thing and did another as soon as he got elected.....this is another self-proclaimed uniter that will do the same.
Reply:as far as Obama is concerned, he thinks they are bad, bad, bad, bad, bad.

He thinks it's bad for people to want to have the government stay out of their wallets.
Reply:Wow sapiens, if you don't want your $1000 I will certainly be happy to take that off your hands. I just hate the idea of you having to deal with an extra $1000 bucks. Terrible.
Reply:He has stated time and time again that families making under 250,000 will KEEP their tax cuts. He has also talked about adding some. One being a tax credit of 10% of your house payment.
Reply:You apparently are one of the lucky ones. Most average people have not benefited from the tax cuts that Mr. Bush wants to make permanent.
Reply:I never got more than one grand so, i won't be crying for them when they are gone.
Reply:They make him sad and ashamed.
Reply:He will never cut taxes! Be prepared

He is going to raise them and everyone who owns a home will be affected.
Reply:He wants you to pay as much money as possible so he can do BAAAD BAAAD things with it...of course!
